I consider myself a secularist, I will vote for the secular movement in Egypt against the Brotherhood, but let us be realistic, the Islamists in the middle east are the most organised, all they way to the peasants in rural egypt, while the secularists revolve around the educated elites of Cairo and Alexandria, and this is where the problem and solution lies.
Lack of education creates an environment more conducive to bring islamists to the helm, and better education will create the opposte. What the west can do is to help the current "tyrants"better educate their subjects on matters of governance, you really dont want Saudi Arabia to go where Egypt went, the world will face one heck of a problem.
