Book selling automatsReader comment on item: Salman Rushdie and British Backbone Submitted by G.Vishvas (Germany), Jun 27, 2007 at 04:29 Book selling automats Certain books are not being sold because of fear of muslims. This fear has to do with the fact that angry muslims may throw or lay bombs in book shops and kill innocent salesmen, saleswomen and book buyers for which the shop-owners will have to pay exorbitant sums as compensation. Such islam-criticising books can be sold through book sell automats (like soft-drinks are sold). Thus kuran-faithing muslims do contribute to intelligent innovative ideas don't they? As regards truth – islam does not contribute to any search of truth. Islam is a fixed-fossilised ideology that refuses to transcend the 7th century. Islam can at best contribute by telling us how not do certain things. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
