Salman Rushdie and British backboneReader comment on item: Salman Rushdie and British Backbone Submitted by Jaisingh Thakur (India), Jul 15, 2007 at 05:51 Dear Mr. Syed Rafey Husain, Being a kafir, I do not understand what all this talk of after-life is all about. However since Saudi Arabia, and your own Pakistan,( the land of the pure, as your founding fathers would have us believe), is bustling with inhabitants who day in and day out, are displaying exemplary vigour and interest in this "after-life" business, and being a close student of their activities both within and without their borders, I gather that visiting countries like India to satisfy their libido, (as the Saudi "after-lifers" regularly do) and purchasing minor girls from poor families in Hyderabad, Bhopal and cities having small Muslim enclaves, not to mention providing ample funds to open murder factories on the Indo-Nepal border, must form one way of pursuing the other worldly life. As for your own country, the less said the better. Please do us kafirs one great favour : recall all your nationals from the 'sinful' countries of the West, the " Great Satan" and wherever they are at the moment usefully occupied in the "after-life " business of increasing their population with a view to take over those societies one day, and never let them venture out of your shores . A separate appeal will also be made to the Saudi "after-lifers" some day to leave our country from their itinerary. We can very well do without their funds or their presence on our soil. Jaisingh Thakur. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please.
