Mary VS MiriamReader comment on item: Salman Rushdie and British Backbone Submitted by Hana (India), Sep 25, 2014 at 09:36 There is no error in verse which refers Mary to sister of Aaron.. It is merely a metaphorical way of speaking and comparing Mariam to Miriam for an incident. Quran verses are like that of Gods speech to Muhammad.. So it's not in the writing style .. N more on how we converse.. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please. Comments are screened and in some cases edited before posting. Reasoned disagreement is welcome but not comments that are scurrilous, off-topic, commercial, disparaging religions, or otherwise inappropriate.
