To Plato: With simple life comes non reactive soul.Reader comment on item: Salman Rushdie and British Backbone Submitted by Syed Rafey Husain (Pakistan), Jul 3, 2007 at 01:26 Are you calling for mass suicide by Muslims to reach the next world? Dear Plato, No. I am saying, with teachings of Quran available it is far easier for me and any other Muslim to live simple life with happiness. Simple life basically means not eager (or fight with other humans) to acquire more and more world resources like Gold, Oil, Land, Woman and Farming Lands and Horses and/or vehicles. With simple life comes non reactive soul. Having non reactive soul your ego dies and when that happens you do justice to other humans may it hurt your own respected father, beloved brother or loving sister. My love to you.
