Reply to Syed in PakistanReader comment on item: Salman Rushdie and British Backbone Submitted by Romesh Chander (United States), Jul 1, 2007 at 17:21 Syed: You write "To be really helpful to other beings and to really do some justice, Muslims around the world leave earthly life aside and look for here after.". If that is true, then why do all muslims (including probably you) want to the western countries where we worship money and comforts and don't worry about after-life (to forget about after-life, we have liquor). If we opended up immigration, there will be no muslims left in the muslim countries; all of them will move to the US/Europe/Canada/Australia. Syed, you are showing islamic hypocrisy. You cannot convince anybody with your statements. We are not children. We use our human logic. If the muslims really want to worry about after-life, they would never move to the west.
