ToSyed Rafey:Reader comment on item: Salman Rushdie and British Backbone Submitted by Plato (United Arab Emirates), Jul 2, 2007 at 10:10 Start reacting against the source Syed Rafey, you wrote (in inverted commas) to Brit: "---And dear Brit, I am putting my best efforts (and need your hands too) to calm down all reactive souls including those who tried to kill innocent 1,000 or more people at a London cafe bar. Let's us help those more and more poeple to calm down through submission to All Mighty.---" Syed, you do come on like a peacenik. I would consider you a real one except for the the fact that you keep asking people to submit to All Mighty (Allah). Unfortunately, this Almighty is not a peaceful Being. Far from it. Allah is a being Who demands unconditional obedience on pain of eternal torture in Hell. And some of his commands tell his Prophet (and his followers are supposed to follow his example): 009.029 SHAKIR: Fight those who do not believe in Allah, nor in the latter day, nor do they prohibit what Allah and His Messenger have prohibited, nor follow the religion of truth, out of those who have been given the Book, until they pay the tax in acknowledgment of superiority and they are in a state of subjection. 9:111 GOD has bought from the believers their lives and their money in exchange for Paradise. Thus, they fight in the cause of GOD, willing to kill and get killed. Such is His truthful pledge in the Torah, the Gospel, and the Quran - and who fulfills His pledge better than GOD? You shall rejoice in making such an exchange. This is the greatest triumph. 8:39 And fight with them until there is no more persecution and religion should be only for Allah; but if they desist, then surely Allah sees what they do. You keep asking people to calm down by surrendering to this Almighty. How can we calm down when we know that people who do surrender are expected to fight and kill people who have not surrendered. "---Though dear Brit, criticize me (Syed Rafey Husain) if I do not follow All Mighty, His Prophets and His Books. But you think you will be justified, if you criticize someone else (that is Islam and Quran) for my (Syed Rafey Husain) crimes?---" Syed Rafey, it is not you who should be criticised for any crime. It is the religion and the Book to which you have surrendered. That Book asks you to go out and kill and exchange their present lives on earth for paradise (9:111). What really frightens and shakes us up, as against bringing us calm, is that Allah has made a binding contract with those who surrender to Him that if they kill or are killed for His sake He will let you enjoy paradise. "---I (Syed Rafey Husain) has contributed to the world is ignorance, evil and bigotry and not the Islam. Dear Brit, do you think, it is rational that, I (Syed Rafey Husain) do not understand and correctly follow All Mighty Prophets and His Books, and you consider me innocent and criticize Islam?---" The reason you have contributed to ignorance, evil and bigotry is because you have surrendered to a Being who requires you believe in him blindly (ignorance), urges you to go out and kill or be killed and be rewarded with paradise for it (evil), treat polytheists as unclean (bigotry). "---Dear Brit, Islam (not the Kings and princes in various Arab states) does mean JUSTICE for women and non Muslims and it will not result in tyranny to large sections of humanity. How could it be? When for me (as a Muslim) it is prescribed in Quran to lower my gaze when woman crosses me. I respect woman because I will be asked on the day of Judgement about my wives.---" What, dear Syed, is your definition of tyranny? The Taliban beating up and executing women for exposing their faces or legs. The execution of women in Islamic Republic of Iran for zina (even unproven ones).Your idea of respecting women is lowering your gaze when one passes by? What about when your Almighty asks you to give them a beating when she is disobedient? And your reason for respecting women is does not sound so good. Is it because you really respect women or because you are afraid of Judgement day? "---Dear Brit, let your heart open and let love and justice prevail, Islam has not murdered more than 69 Million people like it happened in World War 1 and 2 combined. How can it be a message of misogyny, backwardness, murder, when I have been prescribed in Quran, that if I murder a SINGLE human unjust, I killed the WHOLE humanity. I am not like that.---" Syed Rafey, you are also playing the numbers game. What if the West had killed not 69 million but 169 million. Does that make the 25 million Islam has slaughtered, say, any less abhorrent? Actually the figure of Hindus alone killed by Islam will work out to more than the 69 million you mention. Why don't you accept that Islam is as prone to killing millions like the other monotheistic religion., from which your religion springs? "---And I have given us nothing of value to the world but Islam has. It is me who should be blamed, not the Islam.---" Spoken like a true (Deobandi?) madrassa product. You have been made to feel like a child feeling guilty about her abusive father, taking all the fault on herself rather than blame the person she so longs to adore. Sad. So sad. "---Dear Brit, please help me to clear up this pile of reactive souls. And All Mighty is all seeing.---" You can make a beginning by reacting against the teachings of your Almighty. Plato
