I read the Quran and Live among muslims and I confirm what Salman Rushdi said?Reader comment on item: Salman Rushdie and British Backbone Submitted by Egyptian Christian (Egypt), Jun 30, 2007 at 11:03 I lived among muslims all my life and read the Quran twice and Salman Rushdie story book, and I confirm that what he said is just the truth. The Quran is a book full of Satanic verses, Islam is in itself a Satanic barbaric myth. That is why muslims want to kill him, what a better explanation that this religion is barbaric, the only language this religion knew is the blood and the death. The christians of Egypt are get abused and intimidated by the muslims everyday, churches had been attacked all over Egypt, from Alexandria, to Cairo, Giza, Minya, Assiut and Aswan. And guess what, no one, no single person was accussed or presented for a trial or put in jail after all these attacks. What is better explanation of this Satanic and barbaric islam than what is happening in Egypt now-a-days. Salma Rushdie is right and is saying the truth about this religion, that I know very well from my own experience and from knowing this religion. Chapeau your highness Queen Elizabeth for not being coward or intimidated by the arabs and muslims. I would like to ask till when the west will remain silent and indifferent againt the human rights violations in the Islamic countries, in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Somalia,etc... the list is too long. I will say if there is democracy in these islamic states and people have the right to say what they believe, this religion will vanish or at least will diminish in the whole middle-east region, but the problem these countries never had that opportunity. The people who govern these countries and the Muslim religious leaders know this too. That is why they want to kill anybody who talk and say whatever he believes. I wish the west stop naivite and see the real face of Islam before it is too late, before we shall see Uk managed by Sharia, in two or three decades.
