Mmm, good point :) Unfortunately, that does not have much to do with Allah and Muhammad. The Quran rarely mentions love ('obligation' is the style), and even discourages it the first time the word is encountered. One needs to look at not only at the principle of submission, also at the nature of the being surrendered to. The vengeful Allah one reads about in the Quran and Hadith is certainly a god I would not desire to have as a neighbour, and much less as someone commanding my actions.
