It's the religion - Susan!!!Reader comment on item: Salman Rushdie and British Backbone Submitted by Jaladhi (United States), Jul 2, 2007 at 20:48 Good post, Susan !!! One could easily add headlines from a few other Islamic paradises - Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Mauritanina, Somalia, Yemen and so on. However, Muslims are always in denial, have been in denial for last 1400 yeras. Even if they witnessed all those atrocities commited by Muslims with their own eyes, they will still deny it. When somebody is allergic to the truth, that's what happens!!! Always pontificate and repeat the mantra - "Islam is religion of peace" and hope nobody will notice otherwise. Now the events in UK have shown five out of eight Muslim terrorists to be medical doctors. Now that is ironic - doctors are in the business of saving people's lives, not sending them to their final resting place. But now some Muslim doctors have decided to go in the life snuffing business!!! So much for the theory propagated by our PC mad media and apologists that only those "disaffeted" youths who are not assimilated in the society and are oppressed fall prey to imamullah's hateful sermons and take up terrorism. The rest of the educated bunch is all "peaceful". Though 9/11 had disproved that so emphatically six years back - Mohammad Atta was highly educated and not some oppressed, disaffected youth!!! As always - it's the religion and nothing else. But simple truths are last to be recognized!!!
