Salman Rushdie and British backboneReader comment on item: Salman Rushdie and British Backbone Submitted by S.C.Panda (India), Jun 28, 2007 at 05:33 Dear Prof Pipes, When parents do not have the right to kill their own children, who has given the right to Muslims to kill any one. In a hypothetical case, what prevents the Muslims to commission an excellent author to write a book entitled, "The Angelic Verses" to counter Rushdie's. With overflowing petro-dollars, money is not a problem. It is indeed unfortunate that rational Muslims are shying away in giving proper leadership to their community.
