Our dear Syed al-tablighee or is he a mubaligh and the islamic truth!Reader comment on item: Salman Rushdie and British Backbone Submitted by dhimmi no more (United States), Jul 1, 2007 at 12:12 So our dear Syed claims that he is not a tablighee but he is here trying to find converts to islam. And for this i say to him: Good luck because he will need it. And here is your Arabic lesson for today our dear Syed From the Arabic language root BLGh we have the word yubalagh or he informs and a mubaligh is the bearer of news (see Hans Wehr dictionary page 74A). Now enter Pakistanis the wannabe arabs so the Pakistani Arabic word for mubaligh is tablighee! Go figure. Now in real Arabic those who who work on spreading Islam work through al-da3wa al-Islamiya and if you tell an Arab that he is a tablighee he will have no clue about such word or what it really means. But again this is what happens when human beings become the slaves of another culture and another language So in this case our dear Syed either does not know what the word tablighee really mean or he is tyring not to tell us the turh hoping that we will all go away. So much for islam and what it can do for fine minds like that of our dear Syed al-tablighee.
