Words..Reader comment on item: Salman Rushdie and British Backbone Submitted by donvan (United States), Jul 16, 2007 at 10:22 Greetings and Salutations, the grace of the Father, the love and peace of Jesus Christ and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with you. Can you find a place in your heart to love Rushdie? Is it within your power to forgive the hurt he may have cause you and ask him to forgive you for the hate you feel toward him? If you cannot find such power, then ask Jesus Christ to give it to you, and He will. Rushdie wrote a book. Words on paper. It offended you, and now you seek revenge. That feeling of hate and rage, is not of God. It is the forces of the evil one walking you down the path of hate and violence. Ask Rushdie for forgiveness, and Jesus will lift the burden from you, and the hate you feel will evaporate like dew under a strong sun. Forgivness, repent for your sins, and the Prince of Peace will bless you with water from wells you have not dug, and food you have not grown. Here and now not just in the after life which He promises also. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
