Dear Syed Rafey Husain.
I must admit, that I have got you wrong.
You wrote: "If a person insists on insulting Prophets, he will be executed."
I had the impression that you were a true globalist, who would grant equal rights and protection to all religions, and that you would demand the respect of all prophets, muslim and non-muslim.
If this was the case, then you would have issued a deathsentense on yourself. And on me too, for that matter.
What you really meant to say was: "If a person insists on insulting the muslim Prophet, he will be executed".
You insist on your right to insult Christianity and 2 billion christians.
This would be no crime in front of a islamic court.
Am I right?.
This looks to me, as if you demand special rights for muslims.
Discrimination based on religion, gender, color or ethnicity is not legal in Denmark.
We even call it racisme, allthough it has nothing to do with race.
And when you back up your demand for special rights for muslims with violence (execution), I wouldn't hesitate to call it fascisme.
You say: "only after proper court hearings one can decide if a person could be executed."
I dont know if you have heard about the latest cartoon-controversy. The swedish artist Lars Wilk has drawn a picture of Mohammads head on top of the body of a dog.
A pakistani mullah has less that 14 days ago promised a reward on 100.000 dollars to the person who kills Lars Wilk, and 50.000 dollars more, if he is slaugthered as a lamb.
Can you please tell me, which islamic court has handled this case.
I agree with you, it is not a simple matter to take a human life, but muslim mullahs from Pakistan do not agree with you.
You ask if we have a religious court in Europe. Yes, we had the Inqvisition.
They would summon heathens like you to the court, hear you, sentens you for heresy and burn you alive on the stake.
So you should not, and I will not revoke this institution again.
And I feel the same way about islamic court.
Today there is no consensus in Europe about adressing Islam.
Today all religious authorities in EU seek dialog and mutual understanding.
Dialog and respect are about two sides bending against each other.
But Islam will never bend. Am I Right?
So I would defenitely prefer a secular court to handle interreligious matters.
And Jyllandsposten has been tried at court i Denmark.
And the court decided that it was not a crime to bring the cartoons.
The cartoon are within the limits of free speech.
You ask me to list all basic christian teachings.
Please. This will not be possible. Read the Bible. I have read the Koran, now you read the Bible.
But let me bring a few:
In Luke 3.22 and in Matheus 17.5 we have the story about the bapthisme of Jesus.
John the Baptist baptised a lot of people in the Jordan river. One day Jesus came to him to be baptised.
In the middle of the baptisme the Holy Spirit came down from the sky in the shape of a dove. And the voice of God is heard. God said: "This is my son, whom I love. Listen to him."
So it is God, not man, who say that Jesus is the Son of God.
So when your Allah say he is God and has no son, he contradicts the word of God.
And from a christian point of view this is blasphemy, an insult to God.
Or can we better say, that the Christian God is not the same God as the Muslim God Allah.
Or let us take the Trinity.
In Christianity the trinity is God, The Holy Spirit and Jesus.
Muslims have no clue what the Trinity is.
They think that the Trinity is God and Mary in some carnal union, and Jesus as the result of that union.
So Mohammad tells us very clearly, that he has no understanding of Christianity.
Can you tell me, why your God is so ignorant, that he knows not, what is in the book, he rejects.
And it is an insult, that Allah said, he is allknowing, and do not know this.
And your allknowing Allah is so confused, that he thinks, that Mary, Mother of Jesus is Myriam, sister of Moses. Atleast 1000 years seperate the two. This is not an insult, it is just ridiculous.
I can give you a third example:
Jesus went forty days into the desert, into the wilderness.
Hungry and hallucinated he is tempted by the devil.
Jesus is brought to the top of a mountain, and the devil offers him the whole world as his kingdom, and all he has to do is to bow down and worship Satan.
Jesus refuses this, of cause, and somewhere he says: My kingdom is not of this world.
Mohammad went to the desert too. And he meet Gabriel.
Mohammed said yes to both Mekka, Medina, nine wifes and a lot of concubines and sexslaves.
And all he had to do to get it, was to bow down and worship.
So you se, what Jesus rejects, Mohammad accepts.
And so you se, that it is a great insult to Jesus, to say that he will in any way support a man, who is his complete oppposite.
A man, who enjoys the power, that Jesus reject.
A man, who enjoy the carnal pleasure, that Jesus forsake.
A man, who kills, where Jesus is killed.
Now you read the Bible.
And next time we should better discuss the relation between "Freedom of Religion" and "Free Speech"
Because we will have no "Freedom of Religion" if we have no "Free Speech"
Best regards
Jens Bay
