Reply to Brother OliverReader comment on item: Salman Rushdie and British Backbone Submitted by Raqib Ahmed Asif (Bangladesh), Dec 9, 2007 at 12:39 My dear christian brother says that my argument is "childish". As you wrote, let me quote, " Is in Greek and Ys in Hebrew becoming Js in English"; So, I want you to do a little homework, Pronounce, "Isa" then "Yesa" and "Jesus". I hope you got the difference. My fellow christian brothers are suffering from a serious problem, that is they quote the verses from the Bible and from the Qur'an completely out of context. I ask my christian brethren to produce a single verse from the complete bible of 73 books of Roman Catholic, where Jesus HIMSELF said, "I am God" or "Worship me". Let me tell you something. Suppose one of my fellow friend was doing something naughty; I caught him red handed and I said, "Oh! my god. What are you doing?". Does it mean, my friend is "GOD".
