what hypocrisy?Reader comment on item: Salman Rushdie and British Backbone Submitted by surj (United Kingdom), Jul 9, 2007 at 17:25 "to say some shameful words to anyone? to hurt other people? to abuse someone? Does'nt your Quran describe jews as pigs and monkeys? is that not hurting other people? Quran abuses non belivers, is that not hurting other people? Salman Rushdie did not abuse any body's mother, father, sister in his freedom of speech , in fact it is the Muslims who abused Salman Rushdie all over the World. Have you personally read The Satanic Verses? if you have then would you please let us know on which page or pages he was abusive? Freedom of speech is some thing the Muslims will never understand, because it is beyond their grasp. It is so fortunate that the Muslims have all the rights in the West for the freedom of speech, where as they are denied the same rights in their own countries. would you be kind enough to log on www.faithfreedom.org www.thereligionofpeace.com www.jihad-watch.org Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
