The problem..Reader comment on item: Salman Rushdie and British Backbone Submitted by donvan (United States), Jul 2, 2007 at 16:47 Omar, is that you .... claim to speak for "Muslims", how is that possible? Were you elected, appointed, or did Gabriel speak to you in a cave. It may be a simple matter of ignorance, but I doubt it. I think you intetionally lead people to believe that you speak for all Muslims, just like the terrorists do. Your not a terrorist, are you Omar? Because they speak for the Muslims too. So, you see, if all of the Muslims speak for all the Muslims then no one speaks for all the Muslims, which ,of course, no one does. So, Omar, cool your jets. If you hate homosexuals, Jews,Christians, just say that "I, Omar, hate these people" I would understand, since hate is the Muslims stock and trade, but you don't get to speak for all Muslims.
