Do they even know what the signs say?Reader comment on item: Salman Rushdie and British Backbone Submitted by Suzi (United States), Jun 28, 2007 at 19:12 Whenever I see these rabid signs in English, I wonder if their holders are even aware of what the signs say. In any event, I need not repeat that the more people stand up to Islamic threats and violence, the better. On a very important note: a friend has been posting factual news items - largely consisting of video clips and quotations by MUSLIMS themselves - on the large social networking site Tribe.net. Even though there are plenty of debates going on there, with all sorts of "anti" this and that, including criticism of Christianity, Judaism and atheism, my friend was flagged for violating the term of service against "hate speech!" Apparently, the dhimwits at tribe.net have a special policy for Islam that makes it exempt from criticism!I am very concerned that such a policy will become widespread, with sites like yours being shut down and with sponsors such as Google closing accounts because of perceived "hate speech."Obviously, it is imperative that we not let that happen.
