To Maqsood:Almighty cursing humans. LOL. What kind of Almighty is He????Reader comment on item: Salman Rushdie and British Backbone Submitted by Plato (India), Aug 7, 2007 at 05:01 Maqsood, you accuse Surj of not giving logical answers and of stooping to unacceptable levels. What about you? Ans: Surj! you could not give the logical answers so you had to come down to such a level. See the whole context. Quran itself answers to the people like you. 160. 161. As for those who disbelieved and died disbelieving, surely the curse of Allah and of the angels and of all men is on them. 162. Thus shall they abide and their chastisement shall not be lightened, nor shall they be given respite. 163.Your God is One God, there is no God but He; the Merciful, the Compassionate. Maqsood what a sorry situation for one who calls Himself the Almighty. He is reduced to crusing a puny human. Muslims fail to realize that Allah cursing humans is sign of His helplessness. So what does the context tell us Maqsood? Read 161 and 162. In 161 Allah is cursing non-believers. In 162 He is threatening disbelievers with eternal chastisement. And in 163 He contradicts 161 and 162 by claiming dishonestly, considering the previous ayas, that He is merciful, compassionate! >>No one can change the Quran, they are satans who tries to do so.<< You know Maqsood. Satan is doing Allah's work as He has reprieved him till judgment day to enable him to beguile human beings, using Allah's might. Read: 038.079 – 83 YUSUFALI: (Iblis) said: "O my Lord! Give me then respite till the Day the (dead) are. (Allah) said: "Respite then is granted thee- "Till the Day of the Time Appointed." (Iblis) said: "Then, by Thy power, I will put them all in the wrong,- "Except Thy Servants amongst them, sincere and purified (by Thy Grace)." Is this not collaboration between Iblis and Allah? Or even more intriguing considering this conversation is it not possible that all those violent and hate verses against Jews, Christians and pagans were put in it be Satan to put people in the wrong and have who follow them burn in Hell. For if Allah is merciful and kind how can he abuse and curse his own creation and burn them in hell forever? >>And keep in mind i am saying everything for Islam, not for all Muslims. Islam is a religion that provides best levels to humanity and tells everything about how to spend the life. All muslims may be different by virtue of practicality. So dont quote the reference of common Muslims. Talk with me on Islam and its ideal Prophet Muhammad PBUH.<< What is this Islam you think is something special. It is a jumble of indecipherable verses which require tasfirs, written centuries after the appearance of Islam. And the tasfirs are in so much disagreement that muslims need tasfirs of tasfirs i.e. fatwas to lived according to Islam. Maqsood you say : ‘Islam is a religion that provides best levels to humanity and tells everything about how to spend the life'. You forget that among humanity 50% are women and they are denigrated by giving them only half a man's inheritance and considering the worth of their words half as believable as a man's. Islam allows a man to scourge his wife (4:34). Women are punished for lewdness (4:15). No such punishment for men (4:16). Women cannot freely move about in public. What kind of life do women spend in Islam?? The man on the other hand can keep four women in his harem, he can sleep with any number of slaves. Nice way for men to spend their lives. You can exchange one wife for another as long you do not take away what you have given them (4:20). Allah has created a caste system whereby fully 50% of humanity is considered second class. Men are a degree above women (2:228) You say don't quote reference of common Muslims. So are Muslims divided into common and uncommon Muslims? Who are these uncommon Muslims. Islam keeps dividing people into classes not just between Muslim and Kafir but between Muslims and Muslims and between man and woman. Your ideal prophet Mohammed went on unprovoked gazhwas, captured booty which included women and children and had them sold in the slave markets. He also married a child of six years when he was in his fifties. He married his adopted son's wife and conveniently had an aya ‘revealed' to legitimize an incident that shocked the Arabs. >>Although there is no doubt that all Muslims should follow the islam with full spirit and meaning.<< It is fortunate for the rest of us that the majority of Muslims do not follow the full spirit of Islam or the whole world would descend into the terrorism so rampant in Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iraq and other Muslim countries. >>Again read the whole story. It is about War of Badr if you know.<< What my dear Maqsood was the much hyped Badr skirmish about? You prophet getting wind of a rich caravan moving towards Mecca and rushing post haste to loot it. Abu Sufyan outwitting the Prophet (where was Gabriel when he most needed him. He pops up on many other occasions to warn the Rasool) and escaping with his goods. But the justifiably enraged Meccan elders deciding to put an end to the continuing threat to their lifeline decided to give battle. They lose despite their much superior numbers (according to Muslim historians. How believable are they given their penchant for hype). This is seen by Muslims as Allah Himself intervening to give Muslims victory. Battles have been won against even greater odds in history. The battle of Thermopylae for instance, the Greeks were apparently outnumbered almost 100 to one against the 10 to 1 at Badr. 36. Surely those who deny the truth spend their wealth to hinder people from the way of Allah, and will continue to so spend until their efforts become a source of intense regret for them, and then they will be vanquished, and then these deniers of the truth will be driven to Hell,
41. Know that one fifth of the spoils that you obtain belongs to Allah, to the Messenger, to the near of kin, to the orphans, and the needy, and the wayfarer. This you must observe if you truly believe in Allah and in what We sent down on Our servant on the day when the true was distinguished from the false, the day on which the two armies met in battle. Allah has power over all things. >>What you're talking about fifth share??? Is not it clear to you?? Share of Allah means the amount to be spent on mosques, arms (to fight for Allah etc). why did not you saw the rest 4 shares??? What about orphans share? what about the near of kin share? What about the needy and wayfarer share? Is there any other religion who gives these shares? There is absolute NO.<< Why waste resources on mosques when there are orphans and hungry around you? You capture booty to acquire arms to fight for Allah? How come these orphans exist if not because Allah wants Muslims to go and fight in his cause and get killed as he says in 9:111. Whose near kin is the Koran talking about? The Prophet's. That is nepotism. To the wayfarer? Is he a beggar? Why is he moving around if he does not have the wherewithal to pay for his travel expenses? You ask which other religion asks to share booty. LOL. No other religion tells you to go and raid you neighbour and use the booty to feed yourself and the near and dear ones of the brigands who helped you in the raid. As you say it is an absolute NO, NO for other religions. Raiding neighbours to enrich yourself, I mean. Do not just critisize....Surj. Read and understand the Quran to learn and understand so that you get light of it.+ 40. But if they turn away, then know well that Allah is your Protector – an excellent Protector and an excellent Helper. But those who repent and make amends and openly declare (what they had concealed), such shall I pardon for a I am Much-Relenting, Most Compassionate What is the message Allah is giving with Badr. That you can raid unsuspecting people carrying on peaceful trade and Allah will protect you and give you victory if they resist??
