Syed,Reader comment on item: Salman Rushdie and British Backbone Submitted by DEVROCKY (United States), Jul 9, 2007 at 08:57 First, to the issue of Christians persecuted in Islamic countries. Can you honestly say that Christians are permitted to practice their religion as the Muhammedians? Not only Pakistan but all Islamic countries restrict, limit, threaten, and prosecute Christians simply because they are Christians. This is completely in keeping with the Muhammedian dogma and teachings within the Muhammedian cult. Why do I refer to Muhammedism as a "Cult"? Because it is a cult. It demands "Submission" on pain of death if the Islamics are in a position of power. Look at Saudi Arabia,an ideal Muhammedian country. Modern communications enables people to see the brutality ,beheadings, enslavement of women, complete ignorance of indiviudual freedoms and human rights. As for the "Pure Light" , I assume that is in reference to an idealized vision of human experience. Syed, it does not exist on this planet. The ideology of Muhammed will not create such a perfection. Nor will Marxism,Nazism,or any political ideology. Since Muhammedism cannot separate the two, Muhammedism is doomed.
