To Plato: Is there anything that can stop first any Man from not commiting sin?Reader comment on item: Salman Rushdie and British Backbone Submitted by Syed Rafey Husain (Pakistan), Jul 6, 2007 at 06:28 "If you consider that surrender to an almighty who threatens you with hell and bribes you with paradise is freedom you are welcome to it but don't expect too many takers". Dear Plato, do you see any concept of punishment/hell in following situations (In following 3 examples, I used Chirstian and New York to amplify statements for clarity else Chirstian could be replaced with Human or Muslim) : A) A Christian Man killed Chirstian Man and lived ever after in peace in New York. B) A Christian Man looted Chirstian Man and lived ever after in peace in London. C) A Christian Man raped Chirstian Woman and lived ever after in peace in Paris. Is there anything that can stop first any Man from not commiting sin? Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
