To JohnReader comment on item: Salman Rushdie and British Backbone Submitted by Raqib Ahmed Asif (Bangladesh), Jun 29, 2007 at 21:56 Dear John, Assalamu alaikum, According to Edward Said (a christian) from 1850 to this moment, 50,000 books were written against Islam. I hope you know that, if you don't then know it now. Even your "Holy See or Your Pope" discriminated our Prophet Muhammad (sm). The christianity we know today; its foundation was laid by St. Paul not Jesus Christ. Michael Hart (another Christian) says that not me. If we read Bible you wll find where Paul said,"No Crucifixion, no Christianity". We believe in Jesus Christ, we are not anti Christ. We love Jesus Christ, he is one of the mightiest messengers of Allah. But we refuse to accept him as a Son of God. I challenge you to find any single verse from any version of Bible, where Jesus said, "I am God" or "worship me". The problem with you people is; you people read something and understand something else. With Regards Allah hafez.
