To Susan: What injust you see in arranged marraiges, so I can voice with youReader comment on item: Salman Rushdie and British Backbone Submitted by Syed Rafey Husain (Pakistan), Jul 3, 2007 at 01:18 "you are a... muslim coming from a madrassa that believes in arranged marriages..." I am not from madrassa, but I do not see any injustice if boy and girl agrees to marry (do Nikkah) which their parents suggest. It is Muslim family system, do you see any unjust and I will work shoulder to shoulder to voice for it. Obviously forced marriages (that happens in remote parts of Pakistan) has nothing to do with Muslims, Christians, Buddhist, Hindus, Jews, Animists or for that matter any just person. My love to you.
