100% correctReader comment on item: Still Asleep After Mumbai Submitted by Rob (United States), Dec 10, 2008 at 15:57 I absolutely could not put it better than Mr. Pipes. Spot-on, once again! As I watched the horrifying attack unfold on CNN I remember listing to one woman reporter explain how "disenfranchised" Muslims in India are pray (read:victims) for extremist recruiting; thus simultaneously admitting that she knew the nature of the crime (Islamist Terrorist Attack)and unwittingly revealing that she was willing to separate the "attackers" from the source of blame (poor kids were being used). It is now part of our social script that somehow, some way its our social "neglect" of people and peoples that leads them to commit these atrocities, and therefore our responsibility to take it. And by being more mindful thoughtful and tolerant we can get them to like us. I can only assume that these same weak minded fearful idiots would explain away the SS as an Ethnic pride group with a long history of oppression that should be understood and nurtured when it commits occasional transgressions like genocide!!
