persistence is a virtue. in your case, it is a vice.Reader comment on item: Still Asleep After Mumbai Submitted by bayezid (Bangladesh), Dec 21, 2008 at 06:37 with all due respect, GOD is the maker of human emotions. if anyone should understand it ,it is GOD. its not a question of HIM being like us. HE dosent have to be. and ironically, you have placed conditions on GOD wihout realizing it. according to you or your teaching, GOD is not able to feel what we feel. so that means HE is incapable because he isnt like us. are you sure you are talking about GOD? that is what i meant when i said you have no sound knowledge of GOD. and in quran ALLAH says, HE knows what is in our hearts and souls. the contradictions are in your culture and understanding. islam is nothng but a revision and completion of GOD's messages to mankind. what confuses me about your understanding of GOD is that you seem to respect HIM only when HE gives you orders that you like. so GOD, being GOD, cannot order you to do soemthing that you may not like? you are supposed to condition you self for GOD. thats the idea of GOD. thats why HE is called GOD. and there is fighting your ego. for who? for GOD. and although i am getting tired of correcting you, i have to say this nonetheless. there are no kinds of GOD. GOD is not something you categorize or have a character profile of. this is what we learn in islam. so where is GOD respected more? this is my question to you. GOD is the same GOD people worshipped at different times. they have strayed later on. but this is the same GOD. GOD cannot be GOD if we categorize him according to language or nationality. accoring to you, you should worship god only when he says something you are used to doing? like eating dhoklas? or weaing the dhoti? if GOD orders you to wear a robe you re against HIM? are u sure this is proper devotion to GOD? or is your ego your god? is your desire your god? and as for kalki, i still havent received any proof proving otherwise. they may have said this is an avatar and that is an avatar, but the idea is the same. it is simply linguistic difference. or maybe there was corruption introdused already. but the idea that kalki is from arabia, and his fathers name is abdullah and mothers name is amina is a telling fact. it is also said that kalki will be against the swine eaters. does this sound familiar to you? and finally, you can stop playing the droning monotonous song of secularism. you do not infringe any sort of condition on laws of GOD. its not like GOD said cchoose this and discard the rest. secularism is a belief of its own where religion from GOD is merely a showpiece. but it is not intended to be so. it is simply a conflict of interests. a conflict of ideologies. sensible people definitely go with what GOD has said instead of what his servants say. its elementary understanding. secularists go with their own ideas. religious people go with the ideas of GOD. which is better? the one coming from your MAKER and ruler of all, or the one coming from your limited mind? oh, and i am dying to hear the revelation ALLAH sent to moses. . the suspense is killing me.
