ALLAH is the LORD. lol. you didnt know ?Reader comment on item: Still Asleep After Mumbai Submitted by bayezid (Bangladesh), Dec 31, 2008 at 08:01 stop embarassing yourself like this. you have no idea of arabic and none more so about the traditions and cultures of ancient bedouins. but on a second note, you should be quite understanding of their backward mental state, since they did almost exactly the same thing hindus do today. worship others besides ALLAH. the arabic word for god is ilah. not ALLAH. ilah means god. al lah means THE GOD. or the only one and true god. the word allah wsnt used to refer to any local specific deitiy . the quraysh worshipped many gods. they knew ALLAH is the true god , yet they worshipped others. they were pagans. now lets look at what jesus and moses called god in their own languages. the blue letter bible shows that the root word used for god in aramaic is hlo. when this is pronounced it says AALAH!! sounds familiar dosent it. and aramaic is the true language of the gospels. lets look at how musa or moses called god. in hebrew god is known as ELOAHH. again, reminds you of SOMEONE, dosent it? its ok to cry. i did a little. and just like a slave is called abd in arabic, in hebrew a slave is called ebed. so there really wasnt that much of a difference between these two languages. dont tell me jesus was a quraysh too. and moses. cause it looks like they have been calling ALLAH ALLAH all those times. even before muhammad peace be upon him was born.
