True Commandment From The Holy Bible is to Love as Jesus Christ Commands - Not as Men Who Do Not BelieveReader comment on item: Still Asleep After Mumbai Submitted by M. Tovey (United States), Dec 29, 2008 at 14:04 The major problem with people that say they read the Holy Bible is that they read it with human eyes and human logic and derive what they want to out of it, and do not read the Holy Bible to gain its Truth. In this previous post, it is the same thing all over again, assuming that the bloodshed written of is all divinely authorized, and then making the travesty of those human deeds and say falsely that Jesus Christ condones such stuff. Nothing could be further from the truth, and in actuality, anything that is said apart from the power of the Holy Spirit are the words of the Adversary. Let us begin with the statement that Jesus Christ made regarding the fulfillment of the law, is strictly related to the fulfillments of the law, and specifically the fulfillments related to His Deity, His Sonship, and His sacrifice. Since the previous reader, by his own admission, does not have a disciple's relationship with Jesus Christ and His law/commandments, he cannot be expected to have a correct reading of what the Holy Bible says, nor does he believe as well. How does he know that these might be suspected ‘corrupted' verses he so aggressively tries to assert were inserted by other unbelievers? He does not; therefore we must assume his assessment of the Holy Bible (with his antipathy of Israel) is suspect also. Now, the previous reader says, "stop the hate and rubbish." We could not be more in agreement with that. To be fair, though, why did he/does he not protest the Hamas statement that they will end the ‘hudna'? Did he protest the firing of rockets, knowing that Israel had said they will respond? Hamas has had their chance to give Gaza the respite they needed to keep from becoming so infested with hatred, yet they did not. Instead, blame is applied to the only Islamically correct target, Israel. Hence, the end of hudna, and the rockets start. Muslims started this. Christians do not need to tell any Muslim who listens to the hatred spewed from the minarets (actual and televised), nor from the podiums of the imams, who call for Jewish blood as quickly as President Ahmadinejad, Hamas leader Mashaal or Hizbollah leader Nasrallah, about the hatred certain Muslims have for anything none-Muslim. That hatred of Muslims for such things comes from its own source. Now further, since it is still the mentality of the previous reader and other people who think true disciples of Jesus Christ are lumped in with some so-called Christians, those who are guilty for the warfare against humanity, until that association is severed, unbelief in the Truth will become the judgment call for all of the earth. Only those who are believers in Jesus Christ will be judged under the power of His shed blood; all others will be judged by their own blood-guiltiness. Now as to the unbeliever trying to quote scripture to justify the previous reader's assertion of his fifth paragraph, there is no chapter/verse to identify such an atrocity as a commandment from Almighty God; indeed it is suspected to be something incoherent and not scriptural at all. Now if a more appropriate scripture reference is to be sought out, why not Matthew Chapters 5 through 7, or John 13:34, John 15:12, or Romans 13:8. THAT is true fulfillment of the law. These are the things that true disciples of Jesus Christ are commanded to do. But that would require the previous reader to do something he has tried all his life not to do, believe in the LORD Jesus Christ as his Savior, to accept the sacrifice for the personal sins of the previous reader. Then another source of hatred of the previous reader would be converted to a source of true divine love, by the power of Jesus Christ the LORD. (Gospel of John 3:16-18)
