bayezid: The Islamic version of the Golden RuleReader comment on item: Still Asleep After Mumbai Submitted by Plato (India), Dec 26, 2008 at 22:51 Hello bayezid, I forgot to do a tafsir on the Islamic version of the Golden Rule: Islam: No one of you is a believer until he desires for his brother that which he desires for himself. (Sunnah) You know that brotherhood in Islam is brotherhood among Muslims. No Muslim can wish for an unbeliever what he wishes for himself. Allah would be furious! Allah tells you to wish the opposite i.e. make life as difficult for him as possible (9:29).
