Still Asleep After MumbayReader comment on item: Still Asleep After Mumbai Submitted by Ashock (Australia), Mar 2, 2019 at 02:24 To SOS (India( It is absurd to think that India will turn into Islamisthan as you suggested. However, I do somewhat agree with your assertions that Indian Muslims compared to non-Muslims have: I admire your intellect for this analysis but you have failed miserably to highlight the systemic problems of your society, including the Government, that give rise to the pathetic condition under which our Indian Muslim population live. Please tell me one 'walk of life' where the Muslim population is represented fairly? To my understanding there are about 15% Muslims in India but only 3% jobs are held by them in the civil service! My dear friend, Muslims are not the threat. The threat is in the system that unofficially discriminates on the basis of religion. When you block the avenues of progress for a people which direction will they take? The only things they can count on are religion, mosques, madrasas to make up for the lost opportunities. Hence, some may get radicalized. I can assure you, Mr SOS, that over 99% of Indian Muslims are descent people who do not believe in terrorism. We should not condemn a whole community for the actions of a handful of criminals. This is not the teachings of Hinduism. There are many ways to control terrorism. These are: It should be noted that the majority of Indian Muslims who live outside Kashmir are decent people and have no interest in terrorism. Let the government deal with the problems of terrorism but as Indians, we should live in peace and harmony with each other to make India a Mahabharat again. With unity we can lead the world and become a Mahasuper power as well. With this I conclude,Jay Bharat!
