Grand Infidel of Kaffiristan: Muslim Bangladeshis hate to admit they had enlightened idol-worshippers as their ancestorsReader comment on item: Still Asleep After Mumbai Submitted by Plato (India), Dec 26, 2008 at 20:55 Hello Grand Infidel of Kaffiristan, I read this comment of yours about Druids and Banglaeshis: >>you should drop your ethnocentric , racial and cultural biases for just long enough to appreciate that very little is actually known of the Druids which you've used as an example. Anglo-Saxon people do not necessaily descend from Druids. And casting them as primitive is hardly the position you should be taking. If Islamic BanglaDesh had such enlightened forebears - what the hell happened???? << I think you missed out the fact that before Islam came to Bangladesh, it was a vast empty delta of the Ganges! Muslims are loathe to admit that they had very enlightened idol worshipping pagans as their ancestors. And thank your for your Martin Luther King quote. I am going to use it extensively when replying to some commentators on this blog.
