Here we ago again and teaching one at a timeReader comment on item: Still Asleep After Mumbai Submitted by dhimmi no more (United States), Dec 28, 2008 at 10:25 Our dear bayezid wrote >Muhammad peace be upon him is unlettered. No wonder that the Qur'an is such a confused and cofusing book that is no more than poor literature and is no macth to the literary classics as Homer and Firdawsi and Virgil or the Bible or the Gita or the Dhamapada But wait: Then why does it say in Q96 Iqra'? Or read? This means that Muhammad was able to read. Oh al-rasul al-nabi al-ummi? No the word ummi here does not mean uneducated it means gentile and do you know what is a gentile ?And do me a favor: stick to Bengali >he could not even properly sign his own name. Really? And which name was that? Abul Qasim his kunya or Qutham his name or Muhammad or Ahmad? >and people that time knew him as the truthful. And they also knew him as an Arabian warlord and caravan raider and a child molester. Oh my source? Sirat rasul allah and waqidi al-maghazi. He was not the Buddha or the Christ for sure >He simply bore the weight of the revelation that came from ALLAH via angel gibreel . Oh did you know that Allah spoke to me via an angel too and let me think his name is also gabriel! What a coincidence and I have a book for you and if you can believe that Allah the moon God spoke to muhammad the Arabian warlord and caravan raider via an angel then why not me and I'm not even an Arabian warlord or caravan raider Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
