Sun's motion is not a circle at all, definitely nort a 'sphere'

Bayezid tries to prove that while the Koran mentins the Sun and Moon rise and set each day :

Well, what would you rather hear - that it was shrinking? Or maybe static? of course you'd say it was expanding. There's only 3 choices - the first one doesn't bear thinking about.

But if the Koran says the Sun's movement circular (which it is not saying) - then it is telling you something false. It's real movement is an extremely elongated lopsided spiral.
