i read the quran, now i will teach you what it saysReader comment on item: Still Asleep After Mumbai Submitted by bayezid (Bangladesh), Dec 27, 2008 at 14:28 the quran states it correctly. but you do not. you presented the ayah incomplete. is that a sign of your treacherous method ? this is the ayah from surah nisa If any of your women are guilty of lewdness, Take the evidence of four (Reliable) witnesses from amongst you against them; and if they testify, confine them to houses until death do claim them, or Allah ordain for them some (other) way. sure you gotta confine them, but you need 4 reliable witnesses. did you see how many excuses ALLAH gave women to be saved from that sentence? its trouble enough to look for 4 witnesses and reliable at that. wholl be peeking into the bedroom if your wife is having an affair with another man? you should be happy about ths ayah. althug u have ALLAH to fear. and moreover, you didnt mention what ALLAH mentioned, that HE may ordain for the confined women some other way. Sura4 Aya34 . As to those women on whose part ye fear disloyalty and ill-conduct, admonish them (first), (Next), refuse to share their beds, (And last) beat them. you quoted this ayah correctly . but the beating part here has been explained by the prophet as a beating that causes no gret harm or injury. it should not even leave a mark. a light tap. more of your inquiries are more than welcome.
