tell yourself what you wrote and you might actually believe in it ......Reader comment on item: Still Asleep After Mumbai Submitted by bayezid (Bangladesh), Dec 15, 2008 at 09:20 quran is word of GOD. i dont have to prove it to you myself, ALLAH challenges anyone who disbeieves. ALLAH challenges you to write a book like this. 1400 years and we are still waiting. you speak as if you knew reality. shoud i simply take this as arrogance or ignorance. you have to tell me that. being humans who use only a fraction of our brain, how can we claim to know about reality? GOD isnt a planet or a thing that is subject to your eyesight or senses, so you cant see him. you seem like a smart person but dont you know that not everything that exists can be seen? so you dont believe in bacteria? bacteria exists. you just dont see them. you dont believe in your brain? u cant see it but it definitely is inside your skiull. you dont believe in frequencies or waves? im sure you cant see them. so i dare say that you havent really undrstood the concept of god. i understnd your skepticism. and let me add, i pity you. for your information, the aboriginal people, like all other tribes are remnants of previous civilizations. and with all due respect, they received guidance specifically for themselves. such isnt the case with islam. islam is directed to mankind. the aboriginal or indus beliefs werent. only for themselves.so that is the difference that arrogant secuarists fail to notice. so forgive me if i cant really give much value to your argument. looks like you have yet to grasp this logic. and speaking of primitive religions. all primitive religions at one point worshipped the one god. the same god we all know. later on they were corrupted. this is confirmed by anthropologists and historians. ill name u a few. wilhem shcmidt, steven langdon, don richardson. and oh yes, max mueller. just to name a few of course. we dont hate the beliefs of people. we just know them to be redundant and old. but what have you, we try to explain it to them they take ito therwise. talk about narrow mindedness. ALLAH himself says there were always prophets to every nation on earth. so we are totally ok with what bunjil says. but we also know that bunjil wanted those messages to be followed temporarily. ALLAH gave you a free will do what you will with it. you really dont need the approval of the musims for it im sure.
