That would be rather a break with historyReader comment on item: Still Asleep After Mumbai Submitted by Jeff (United States), Jan 1, 2009 at 16:26 Hi Kman, Dream on. Saddam Hussain murdered thousands of Muslims per year for years, many in unspeakable ways that entertained his sons. Threatened with removal from power by the USA, zillions of Muslims marched in the streets, yelling "Our blood and our souls for you O Saddam." The most popular mass murder who ever lived. And when a reporter throws his shoes at the guy who ended Saddam's carnage, he becomes an instant hero among all those moderates throughout the Islamic world. When a teacher from the UK neglects to object when her first grade students name their class teddy bear Mohammad, Muslims take to the streets, demanding her murder. And I don't have to tell you about the great middle east block party that occurred on 9/11. Your point is well taken, Kman. Good luck finding those moderate muslims we keep hearing about. If only Jean Dixon were still alive, maybe she would know where they are. I don't think we have a chance without her.
