I wish your were right about Russia

Russia is doing a great deal since they broke up their Soviet Union empire. They have plunged a great deal into re-arming. They have been arming Iran to the teeth. Israel has no choice anymore but to attack Iran because of their nuclear program which got a big boost long ago from North Korea. Things are falling apart all over the place.

Russia is also arming Venezuela to the teeth. Russian nuclear subs and a lot of other military have already moved into this country. Chavez wants to be another Castro and Russia is only to happy to comply. The price of oil has hurt Chavez a little, but he is already moving to consolidate his grip on Venezuela. I doubt there will be another election there of any consequence. South America has a few new communist countries now, and the Russian presence is going to increase.
