In response to PlatoReader comment on item: Still Asleep After Mumbai Submitted by kahan (Singapore), Mar 2, 2009 at 00:20 I read through Plato's commentary about certain verses of the quran. As much as we want to understand the quran, it can only be understood in totality and not through isolated verses. When we read it with the hope to understand, only then insightful understanding will be achieved. This is the miracle of the quran. Each time we open it, it imprints in the readers' hearts with interpretation according to the intention they have at that moment. If true understanding we seek, that's what we get.
