Advice to bayezid from BangladeshReader comment on item: Still Asleep After Mumbai Submitted by Prashant (United States), Apr 2, 2014 at 01:17 Dear Dr Pipes, Reader Bayezid from Bangladesh mentions that Hindu Vedas and Upanishads mention about Allah and Muhammad. Some muslims never get tired of giving frivolous arguments in favor of their religion. If Veda's and Upanishads are books of Kafirs then how does it help if they mention about Allah? Why should true believers in Allah rely on the false scriptures of the Kafirs to seek validity for their God or prophet. And if Vedas and Upanishads are indeed devine books then Muslims should give up their religion and start following Vedas and Upanishads because those books predate Islam and are truthful and hence they make Islam unnecessary. But Bayezid's kind of Muslims want to have their cake and eat it too. They tell you that your book is false but those portions of it are good that talk about their prophet. The same Islamic propaganda is often also made about the Bible and the old testament. These false arguments of Islamists meed to be challenged.
