Mr. Bayezid continues to offer opinions.

Mr. Bayezid continues in his fruitless attempt to explain why his belief system is supreme:

"if you think people are indeed so smart, "
Do you concede there are more intelligent people than yourself?
why haven't they been able to write something similar to the quran? "
Smart people have the insight to realise writing such a hodgepodge collection of Arabian urban myths and folk wisdom would be a complete and utter waste of time. Who would read it?. But there HAVE been far better books written by Western authors. Some of them are fairy stories too - such as the well-known Lord of rthe Ring series by J.R.Tolkien which you might have at least heard of. That series of books has deep philosophical meaning although it is couched in a fable.

Not at all. I have read many.many scriptures from many religions - they are not designed to stretch 'intellectual limit' . I won't be too unkind - and will agree that the Koran is well suited to 7th Century arabia.

"well nobody said we were perfect. wheres the opinion here? maybe you dont know the difference between fact and opinion."

Mr. Bayezid - I don't think you understand. You don't seem to see that what you state is merely YOUR OPINION (tightly held, true) and only your opinion. It might agree with the opinions of other Islamists - but it does not make it empirically true. You step into the realm of religious fascism when you insist that your particular beliefs are true - everyone else's are second rate or false - and that because your beleifs are true (for you) - therefore everyone else must accept them.

This is absurd and childish. It's also the reason 99% of all the bombings in in all the countries that they have occurred in are committed by your Islamic co-religionists. And we can be sure the next big massacre in some as yet unknown location will be caused by them as well. People alive now will be dead or severely maimed, their lives ruined - because of deluded, narcissistic people who insist that what is going on in their brains is significant and real. This is your religion we are talking about. What practical steps are YOU taking to stop it?

So much for the 'religion of peace'.

What a joke.
