The lazy ulama and the absurdReader comment on item: Still Asleep After Mumbai Submitted by dhimmi no more (United States), Dec 20, 2008 at 15:30 Our dear Keith who is no more than a victim of Arabian imperialism wrote >"The ink of the scholar is more holy than the blood of the martyr." Well me tell the contextomy (ROTFL) of this little gem and I'm paraphrasing here: it seems that it was pointed out by the Arab terrorists that were terrorizing (see John of Nikui and Sophronius) the folks in the Middle East starting in 633CE, that the ulama were sitting on their rear ends eating the horrid soup called tarid and meats and marrows and heaving the 4 wives and dancing girls and slaves and the question that was posed to those lazy Ulama: "How come you the ulama do not come and fight in the jihad with us and give Allah and his rasul 1/5 of the loot collected from terrorizing the infelds" and the Ulama had to come up with an answer and it was, and you guessed it your little gem Victims of islam like you believe this nonsense and let me assure you that without al-futuh al-3arabiyya (and not islamiyya) and the fact that the Arab polity opted for islam a religion that did not even exist in 633CE and was not even defined until 300 years later there would have been no islam today and you would not have been a victim of it Oh and do me a favor; stick to urdu Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
