Proud Indian: It is their education that leaves them intellectually challengedReader comment on item: Still Asleep After Mumbai Submitted by Plato (India), Feb 28, 2009 at 19:52 Hello Proud Indian, Thank you for your comments. I think these people are desperately trying to hold on to their beliefs. They have unfortunately been indoctrinated from early childhood to hate the Other. This hatred is part of their offiial school curricula. You may have read the link I had posted about the hatred that is taught in Pakistani schools (and I believe also in Saudi and some other Isamic countries). You can then imagine the kind of inflammatory stuff Muslim children are subject to in madrassas. Someone should take the initiative (Daniel Pipes?) to bring out this fact of indoctriation in hatred that Muslim children are subject to. It is a kind of child abuse and it results in a twisted hate filled mind among some Muslims leaving them inatllectually challenged as demonstrated by so many Muslim posters on this blog. Thankfully, I think only a minority are affected by the virus planted early in childhood. Fortunately humans have evolved generally to resist such viruses, though looking at what is going on in the Muslim world I sometimes think that Islam has not managed to develop resistance.
