The prospect of civil war is disturbingReader comment on item: Still Asleep After Mumbai Submitted by Sid (United States), Jan 8, 2009 at 10:33 but seems to be far-fetched right now. But look at Srilanka and LTTE. If this situation ever arises (and it may in a decade) we are most likely to loose more than Kashmir and who knows may be another line-of-control will be defined over my dead body and my house. This is probably what ISI wants. To stop this, may I suggest a ban on Madrassas and a set of universal laws applicable to Hindus and Muslims (and another 10-some religions that exist inside the diverse country)? This may create a huge protest but to save our future and children, we got to do this. Forget about west and western governments, they can not see anything beyond their interest in oil supply and corporate profits. If we have to survive, we have to become strong as a country. Pakistan is not our biggest threat, it is the muslims in the country that is acting as a fifth column.
