Fight the good fight and Jesus Christ "The Prince of Peace"

To Keith

I am truly impressed with your very gracious words and the compliment you pay me about what I wrote about peace; as a deeply committed follower of the Lord Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace, I can do no other than commend Him and His gift of peace, to you and to all who will have Him and His peace, thank you so much for saying what you said Keith, and for your kind greetings to me and my family, which I gladly return to you and yours.

Jesus' followers are indeed in a spiritual battle, the Bible telling us,

"For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places."
Ephesians 6:12

but praise the Lord, He has given us a mighty weapon, His word, the Bible saying, again in Ephesians, in a passage titled, "The Whole Armour of God,"

"A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power........................Therefore, put on every piece of God's armour so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm..............................and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God."
Ephesians 6:10,13 & 17

Elsewhere, the Bible says,

"For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires."
Hebrews 4:12

The Bible also assuring Jesus' followers that they have the victory, because,

"The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds."
2 Corinthians 10:4

"....................the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world."
1 John 4:4

So Keith, I go into tomorrow, and into all my tomorrows, with my sword in my hand, intending to get blood on it, the enemy of my soul's blood!!! believing it, 'cause the Lord Jesus Christ modeled it, and the Bible tells me that,

"I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength."
Philippians 4:13
