AQEEDAH vs ASSABIYYAH for you Mr. KeithReader comment on item: Still Asleep After Mumbai Submitted by raja believer (India), Dec 26, 2008 at 13:19 You'll make a good attorney Mr. Keith, if you are not one by now. You seem to mix up two extreme civilizations and draw conclusions to prove your point. Islam, for your information, is opposed to the concept of Nationalism--"Assabiyyah", as it unifies people based on "Aqeedah"---- belief in Allah and his messenger, rather than on ethnic, family groups and classes. The Prophet himself said " Leave it (nationalism, racism and patriotism), it is rotten". On another occasion the man pronounced "..... it (nationalism) is a coal from the coals of hell fire, if they don't give this up Allah will consider them lowly worm, which pushes itself through Khara"(Dung). And there are a few more occasions that nationalism was shunned and snubbed by Muhamad. The common vein that exists in almost all Islamists is stubborn denial in the face of overwhelming evidence, staring stark nude at them, try to justify and alter the verses of book to their convenience. If you say the American Law & Constitution are in consonanace with the Quranic Sahriah Laws, then what do you think are Laws of Saudi Arabia, Islam Nations and Taliban. You say that the 7th century Arabian tribes were intelligent and matured enough to frame a constitution as great as that of America and expect everyone to believe you. Please say that the book also has the technology of subsonic jet, Audi Cars & the Nasa Columbia Supercomputer. Mr. Keith, moderates like you are treated on par with infidels by your co-religionists. So be watchful when you talk against terror next time.
