Pakistan is Muslim - how is that not a threat?Reader comment on item: Still Asleep After Mumbai Submitted by kman (United States), Jan 8, 2009 at 20:28 Maybe I don't understand your line of thought here, but Pakistan is Muslim and has many radical sympathizers within all government, military, & intelligence branches. Pakistan is a threat and even more so once they decide the U.S.isn't paying enough extortion to get them tocooperate against the Taliban. Many, many militant factions exist in Pakistan & are bristling with popular appeal, arms, and territory.
