Thank you for your response ...However, I know the real Islam.Reader comment on item: Still Asleep After Mumbai Submitted by kman (United States), Jan 5, 2009 at 22:45 I have much trepidation over thinking the Quran verses you quote are taken in your vein. Radical Islam has accomplished way too much influence and intimidation. I see people like you as the ones who preach "peace" in the the first prong of the Islamic advance in western nations. That "first prong" has been used very effectively to catch many a nation off guard and let down their guard. The next step is for the militants to come into the established mosques and preach what Mohammad actually preached himself. That wasn't peace on earth and good will to all who walk whatever belief "peacefully". All of Islamic history has been the double approach. I have read all histories in country that allows free research into any belief. It didn't take me long to see the "intent" of Islam. It is a quite well laid out plan for nations that get complacent about there educations and awareness of what truly goes on in the world. I know what "really" goes on in the actual playing field. It's quite convenient to placate everyone with the "peacefulness" of the Islamic agenda and then do a 180 degree turn-around when the situation allows. "Allowing" has happened in numerous nations throughout all of the Middle East, Northern Africka, the Near East, and any other country where the poor and impoverished have been kept exactly that - poor and impoverished. Islam is a great draw for those who have been allowed only the outlet of hatred and rage. Revenge falls closely on the heels of "all is ok as long as you first shout 'Allah Akbar'". That is the reality of Islam throughout all of their history. I know exactly how Islam is played out in every single country that is ruled by Islam. It is not pretty. They are not at all beneficial towards any of any other beliefs or non-beliefs. As a matter of fact, they are absolutely opposite to what you claim regardless of what which pat of the Quran is quoted. The Muslims pick out whichever portion of the Quran happens to be expedient under current circumstances. As for "dhimmi", I pray for him, also. But, then you know I pray from the vantage point of the God of all truth and not the one that did a poor job of "copycat". Keep me posted on what you think the current philosophy of Islam is about. I find it difficult to keep up with the latest trend. You can beam the "peace" mantra all you want. I know the reality.
