The Holy Bible Contains Commands of a Holy Almighty God - Obedience Required Through Jesus ChristReader comment on item: Still Asleep After Mumbai Submitted by M. Tovey (United States), Jan 4, 2009 at 01:03 The first sentence from the writer of the previous post helps to determine that he has not, neither is he interested in the truth of the Holy Bible, nor the witness of this reader's admonition, that Jesus Christ is the LORD, that in obedience to the love of Almighty God the Father, Jesus Christ was sent to this earth as the payment for the sin debt of humanity. But let us look at the record the previous writer espouses to be the reason for the current bloodshed, which it is obvious due to the hostilities in Gaza that he is expressing his frustration. The verses mentioned tell of the judgment of Almighty God on the ancient peoples of the old times who practiced abominations of pagan rituals, up to and including the sacrifice of children to their bloodthirsty deities. The land was polluted with such blood rituals and required blood to cleanse the land. Now comes Holy Bible law 101, which is the Torah. Numbers 31 tells of Judgment against the Midianites who worked against Israel as they came out of Egypt. This is an unlikely thing to be expected from the Midianites, since Moses' wife was from Midian. This execution of the Word of the LORD upon the Midianites for the actions against the Hebrews. It was commanded then and fulfilled then, by obedience to the LORD. Judges is not Torah, so the execution of the command to cleanse the land dedicated to Abraham of the bloodthirty deities is not law, but a demonstration of fulfilling justice as required by a Holy Almighty God. Now, if someone of Muslim ideology, whom has before claimed the honor due to Jesus Christ now makes false claims about the Person of Jesus Christ, then where is the consistency of that or any other argument, except to say there can be no consistency without having faith in Jesus Christ as LORD and Savior. The Holy Bible is the source to find the truth of Jesus Christ, not to find reasons not to believe. Until one asks Jesus Christ to forgive one's sins and ask Him into their hearts in prayer, then the Holy Bible will never be usable against Jesus Christ except in unbelief.
