Putting the blame on Israel or on the US or the West, is just as stupid as some Westerners putting the blame on Islam or the Quoran. The blame for the Israeli - Pal conflict rests mainly on the shoulders of the successive Pal leadership, and on the shoulders of many of their supporters, like the Prince appears to be. The Pal people have been, time and time again mislead and totally deceived by terrorist leaders, incapable of bringing about peace, because of their use of force; these terrorist leaders have also deceived the supporters of the Pal people, such as the Prince.
Some years ago, the Prince should remember, the same Pal terrorist leadership attempted to de-stabilize Saudi Arabia, through riots, sabotage, acts against the Saudi interests, and the outright promotion and support of Saddam's invasion of Kuwait, and a call for him to invade Saudi Arabia also; followed by attempts against the Saudi Royal family, and lately even Hamas' threat to the Saudi regime, and so on. The Prince needs to look at the sit, and review his records, from his own security services.
The Prince needs to wake up and open his eyes, and look at reality. The latest Gaza war was planned, triggered, instigated far away from Gaza, and executed by Hamas, the Iranian supported proxy; starting well over 7+ years ago. The intensity of the rocket, mortar and even attempts to murder Israeli civilians/soldiers through sniper fire and IEDs at the Gaza border escalated continuously over the past 3 years. No country, with the minimal means, would allow continuous bombardments, deliberate targeting of its civilians and civilian infrastructure for as many years as Israel did. The Israeli government tried to progress all kinds of initiatives, including the Saudi Initiative, to absolutely no avail. Essentially, Israel was once again dragged into a war it did not want.
The Prince's views and conclusions are based on poor information, or on biased information, or a failing comprehension of what is occuring. The Prince needs to just look at the situation, with a critical eye, and he will see that the originators of the problems are located on the other side of the Gulf, yes his Gulf;and soon will be making Saudi life just as difficult, if not more, as they have done for Israel. And the Saudi paid weapons, in Pak, may soon not be there any more; Pak is rapidly being destabilized, and it is likely the weapons will be spirited away to his unfriendly neighbour accross the Gulf.
