Nozzi: Why do you pray at all?

How is praying with ones face down on the earth and behind pointing towards heaven constitute respect to Allah? Instead, if you sit on your behind and face the sky would it make any difference to the respect you give Allah?

It is not only their eyes they keep closed when Muslims pray, they also have a closed mind as most pray in a language they do not understand. Only if you know the language you are praying in will your mind be open to what it is you are uttering.

Why should I or you worry about it as you know Allah is All-Merciful.

Muslims consider the act of worshipping idols or other beings also an unforgivable sin as Allah tells them it is the one transgression He will never forgive. So my act against Allah is as nothing compared to the billions of people who worship pieces of wood, stone, or pictures.
