M Tovey,
I'm sorry that I missed out on this post this morning since there were so many posts, and especially one that really disturbed me (the lady questioning the credibility of her Muslim man, what a novelty! And how sad to read. These replicas of Muhammad will never get tired of trying to lure innocent victims for their gain. Anyway, let's focus on your post.
M Tovey, I love the title of your post, M Tovey. God's grace is far from being found in the Qur'an because this God that they worship is vindictive and punishes whenever one of his creations is disobedient to him and Muhammad.
Do you know one of my most ingrained beliefs that I have stuck to from a very early age? The belief that one can be already in hell if their hearts are filled with hatred and jealousy. In short, negative feelings. And feelings shape and rule one's behaviour. Islam, through the Qur'an, instils these feelings in the believers' hearts, who finally grow in this basis.
Yes, God's grace, for sure, can't be found in the Qur'an pages, whether we are reading a good translation or a shameful one. In the end, the message is the same one. And on top of it, as Dhimmi No More has soundly demonstrated to us by providing us with a good amount of evidence, the Qur'an is a total fraud! So far, we believed that it was a crazy book with crazy commands and no compassion towards any human being, especially women. A book to instil in Muslims a superiority feeling while teaching them to disrespect kuffars. A book about punishment if one is not obedient to Allah or Muhammad. A book about fear. Today, we know even much more!
Even if you don't believe in what the "people of the book" do, this God doesn't punish you for choosing a different path or doubting. There's no hatred towards those who question the faith during their learning process. Nor is there a punishment. It is all about compassion. And love. Prashant said today this as well when talking about Hinduism. Thank goodness we have better options! And we can learn from different religions that for sure make us better persons to live peaceful lives. Islam is the only religion that doesn't preach about peace since all you can infer is just the opposite! Funny that they like to call it the religion of peace. How? I have to repeat, how?
Islam takes a toll on those who dare to question even one word of any ayah. Even those ones that Dhimmi No More proved us to not have been properly translated. So go figure about God's grace. Islam only promises this to the shut-mouthed who don't pose any question/threat to their religion nor make any noise.
Thank you for getting back to me here. I like to read your perspectives, and I learn a lot from you too.
